Designed for a busy family, the goal of the design was to seamlessly connect the indoors with a new outdoor living space. Strong lines repeat existing geometric forms and connect architecture with landscape.A large planter with trees and ground covers subtly separates the two spaces of the upper and lower terraces. Tall summer grasses just off the upper patio soften the hardscaped edges. Water dances in the night near the dining terrace.
