A MONROE RESIDENCE TRANSFORMATION

Our modern, organic approach to landscape architecture creates minimalist designs and well edited plant lists with concentration on texture, leaf color and architectural use of plant material. Blurring boundaries between indoor and outdoor areas is always the goal in this type of project.

Here, the homeowners requested a small rustic cabana with an entertaining area; television, rustic cabinetry, refrigerator, ice maker, sink and beer keg. Bar seating is also available.

Planting between the strong elements of the cabana and outdoor fireplace extend the visual depth of field and blend the garden into the woodland beyond.
